facebook is bonkers

i'm not one to write blog entries but today i'm feeling a little more vocal than usual facebook...myspace....social networking...it's something that's become a norm for millions of people. i know that humans are naturally social beings but have we become so desperate for contact that we subject ourselves to have these "devices" to contact each other at every single moment? what ever happened to privacy or alone time? i will admit that a time i did participate in this phenomenon, but one day i sat back and realized that these social sites really brought no productivity or  gratification to my life. i would much rather communicate in person or via phone. i also realized that this social network is merely a facade. you keep in touch with friend but networking is not about keeping in touch with friends but rather keeping in touch with people who will be able to aide you and vice versa. life is too precious to  be staring at some jackass' profile....go outside it's beautiful

p.s.-if any of my family members read this....tell my mom to get off facebook...please do it for the children...the children!! ha ha ha ha
